The Escapist is holding a tournament, the 2011 March Mayhem: Developers Showdown. Its a contest wherein players vote for their favorite game developers. Its currently down to Round 5 and Blizzard is among the top 4.

March Mayhem: Developers Showdown is an exclusive event on The Escapist where the top 64 game developers go head-to-head in an elimination style tournament to see who comes out on top.

To vote, you need to register an account. Click the Vote Now red button at the upper right of the screen to see the latest match-ups.

There are prizes to be won sponsored by Alienware. The contest uses a point system encouraging users to do certain tasks like voting, tweeting, Liking their Facebook page so they could earn points. Each point increases the chances of winning. The winners will be selected randomly from this pool of points on April 5, 2011. Read the Rules for the complete list of terms and conditions.

Blizzard has made its way into round 5 beating other popular game developers along the way. At round 5, it is up against BioWare, last years winner. Let us show that Blizzard has the best community of gamers by VOTING NOW.
